Azier has consistently experimented with different musical directions on his three albums, moving across the World and taking inspiration from wherever he lived, from European cultural epicenters as Berlin and Paris to world cities as Kyoto, Japan, and Abidjan, Ivory Coast, constantly renewing himself musically and visually.Īfter three albums, all with their own geographical and cultural influences, Azier released “Raven On the First Floor” in May this year, a four-song EP created in his combined living quarter / studio space in Amsterdam, and yet again he morphs into a new musical direction. One of those multi-faceted artists never standing still and always morphing into something new, always too restless to settle down, is Thomas Azier.
